Audi Tradition’s Epic 2025 Celebration Is Here!
Audi Tradition is celebrating several milestones and participating in numerous events in 2025. Highlights include:
- 60 years since reintroducing the Audi name (in 1965): Auto Union GmbH moved on from two-stroke engines and introduced its first four-cylinder model named “Audi.” An example of this post-war Audi will be on display on International Museum Day (May 18) in Ingolstadt.
- Audi museum mobile’s 25th anniversary: The museum in Ingolstadt celebrates its own milestone on May 18.
- Bremen Classic Motorshow (Jan 31–Feb 2): Audi Tradition will mark 25 years of the Audi A2, showcasing a polished aluminum model. Experts will be present at the Volkswagen Group stand in Hall 5 to discuss spare parts.
- FAT ICE RACE in Zell am See (Feb 1): Rally champion Harald Demuth will drive a 1984 Audi Sport quattro Rallye. Meanwhile, Dakar Rally winner Jutta Kleinschmidt will pilot the 2024 Dakar-winning Audi RS Q e-tron on ice.
- The I.C.E. in St. Moritz (Feb 21–22): Tom Kristensen will present the rare 1986 Audi quattro Group S prototype on the frozen Lake St. Moritz.
- Festival of Speed in Goodwood (July 10–13): Audi Tradition commemorates its first Le Mans victory 25 years ago with Tom Kristensen and Dindo Capello. The Auto Union Type 52 and historic Le Mans cars will run the famous hillclimb.
- Eifel Rallye Festival (July 24–26): Audi Tradition brings historic rally cars to Daun.
- Classic car rallies: Audi Tradition vehicles will appear at the Heidelberg Historic (July 4–5), Donau Classic (July 18–19), and Sachsen Classic (Aug 14–16).
- Other events at the Audi museum mobile: International Museum Day (May 18), Night of the Museums (Sept 13), and model car markets at Neckarsulm (Nov 9) and Ingolstadt (Nov 30).
