I recently had the incredible opportunity to photograph the 2025 Car of the Year finalists, but let’s just say the shoot didn’t go quite as planned! The venue itself posed some real challenges, so I decided to push my creativity by light painting each car.

On top of that, the weather did not cooperate. A sprinkle of rain, plus a layer of dust, meant all the cars were less than showroom-clean. But sometimes those unexpected twists can lead to some unique shots. We had to get creative quickly and working around the droplets. Time was tight, and this session was far from a polished studio experience...

In the end, I’m pretty thrilled with how these pictures turned out—especially given the conditions. Check out the result of a very quick session.
